The State Council of Educational Research and Training, Assam (SCERT) has recently published a official notification regarding SCERT 2 Year D.El.Ed. Course Admission for the year 2020. Online applications are invited from intending and eligible candidates having permanent residentship of Assam to appear in the Pre Entry Test (PET) 2020 for admission into 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed.) Course. The course will be conducted for the academic session 2020 to 2022 from 1 July 2020 at the NCTE recognised Teacher Education Institutes of the State.

Name of the Course: 2 Year D.El.Ed Course
Age:
The age of the candidates should not be less then 18 years and not more then 34 years of age as on 01/07/2020. However, there will be relaxation by 2 years in case of SC/STP/STH candidates.
Qualification:
The applicant must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board or Council with at least 50% marks in aggregate. There will be 5% relaxation of marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/STP/STH.
Reservation:
There will be reservation of seats for the candidates belonging to reserved categories including OBC/MOBC/SC/STP/STH/Person With Disability (PWD) will be as per existing Government of Assam rules.
Applicaton Fee:
A fee of Rs. 400 (Rupees Four Hundred Only) will be paid online for all categories.
Selection Procedure:
Candidates have to appear in a Pre Entry Test (PET) 2020 on 26 April 2020 in order to get selected for SCERT 2 Year D.El.Ed Course for the academic year 2020 to 2022. The venue for the Pre Entry Test (PET) will be DIET of a District. However depending upon the number of candidates the Pre Entry Test may be held in nearby TEI/school/college etc. The venue for the Pre Entry Test will be indicated in the Admit Card of the candidates.
