State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) Assam has recently published a official recruitment notification about 204 Nos. of Junior Assistant and Stenographer post in Assam Police. Applications are invited from intending and eligible candidates having permanent residentship of Assam for filling up 15 posts of Junior Assistant in Directorate of A.P.HQrs, 170 posts of Junior Assistant in district police cadre and another 19 posts of Stenographer (Grade-III) in district police cadre in Assam Police. Pay Scale:
After joining candidates will get a Basic Pay of Rs. 14,000 to 49,000 with Grade Pay of Rs. 6,200 plus other allowances admissible as per existing Assam Government rules.

The age of the candidates should not be less then 18 years and not more then 38 years of age as on 1st January 2020. However, the upper age limit is relaxable by:
● 5 years in case of SC/STH/STP
● 3 years in case of OBC/MOBC
Educational Qualification:
Candidate must be a graduate in any discipline
Arts/Science/Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized College/Institutions affiliated to a recognized University and must possess a Computer Diploma.
2) Junior Assistant (District Level):
