1) Assistant Inspector of Excise:

Pay Scale:
- After joining candidates will get a basic pay of Rs. 14,000 to 49,000.
- Along with Grade Pay of Rs. 6,200
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed minimum Higher Secondary from any government recognized Board or Council.
2) Excise Constable:

Pay Scale:
- After joining candidates will get a basic pay of Rs. 14,000 to 49,000.

Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed minimum HSLC or its equivalent from any government recognized Board or Council.
Age Criteria for Assam Excise Various Post:
- The age of the candidates should not be less than 18 years and not more then 38 years as on 01/01/2020.
- Candidate must have born on or before 01/01/2002 and on or after 01/01/1982.
- However, the upper age limit is relaxable by:
- 5 years in case of SC, STP and STH candidates.
- 3 years in case of OBC/MOBC candidates.
